Why it pairs well with life: providing safe habitat for essential pollinators, preserving native bee biodiversity, vineyard biocontrol to reduce chemical inputs, increase carbon storage, neighbourly.
These two programs are being co-funded through grants and co-contributions from Linnaea and our growers. There are over 3000 native bee species in Australia and they need our help. Launching in 2021 we will be creating biodiverse habitats on our vineyard floor, perimeters and headlands to invite permanent bee residency.
Trees for Bees will restore public lands with the help of local schools and nonprofits. These will be demonstration plots to encourage education and wider adoption of bee-friendly practices.
